Seaside was built in the 1980s as an experiment in walkable town-making, and it came out so uncannily perfect that Peter Weir filmed The Truman Show here without building a set. Truman's house is on Natchez Street. Eat from the Airstream food trucks on 30A, walk to the beach pavilions, and enjoy the very slight feeling of being watched.
