Free, thirteen minutes over a 10,500-ft ridge to Mountain Village, and the only transit system of its kind in the country — built as a condition of the resort's expansion so the two halves of town wouldn't need a road between them. Telluride's ski runs fall away on both sides; See Forever, the run down the ridgeline, is named for exactly what you get from the top.
